Q: What instruments do you teach?
A: We teach piano, guitar, voice, drums, strings, woodwinds, brass and more—covering most standard instruments.
Q: What ages do you accept?
A: We start as young as 4–5 depending on the instrument, and we teach adults too.
Q: Do students need prior experience?
A: Not at all—we work with complete beginners through advanced players.
Q: How do you select your teachers?
A: All teachers are experienced musicians with professional experience, and they go through a selective interview and audition process, auditioning on each instrument they intend to teach, including sight reading all books we use within the curriculum.
Q: How do you track progress?
A: We follow a structured curriculum with milestones and share updates with parents every week through our student portal that automatically sends an email to parents.

Q: How long are lessons?
A: Standard lessons are 30 minutes, with 45 and 60-minute options for advanced students.
Q: How often are lessons?
A: Weekly lessons are the most effective, and that’s what we recommend. On occasion students will choose to take two weekly lessons to advance even more rapidly.
Q: Can we choose our teacher?
A: Yes, you can either self-book by choosing a teacher based on their bio and availability or apply to the academy by filling out a questionnaire and we will match students with the right teacher for their personality and goals.
Q: What if we need to reschedule?
A: Lessons can be canceled and rescheduled with 24 hour notice. Simply cancel and reschedule at your convenience with our 24/7 student portal.
Q: What happens if my child misses?
A: Students can conveniently reschedule lessons through the student portal 24/7 and we have a 24 hour cancellation policy in order to reschedule your lesson.

Q: How much do lessons cost?
A: Tuition is a flat monthly rate which includes months with a 5th lesson, many performance opportunities throughout the year, student incentives like our challenge prizes, all star board etc as well as reserving your weekly time spot. Our most popular option is weekly 30 minute lessons. Please see our self booking link for current pricing options.
Q: Do you require a long-term contract?
A: No long-term contracts—lessons are month to month with notice by the 15th of the month to cancel for the next month.
Q: Are there sibling discounts?
A: Siblings received a waived registration fee.
Q: What payment methods do you accept?
A: Credit Cards must be on file for auto pay for monthly tuition.

Q: Do students perform in recitals?
A: Yes, we host regular recitals so students can share their progress and gain confidence. We have several types including a formal spring recital at a professional venue, various holiday recitals, summer performances like at the Forge (The biggest adventure park in the country) or special performances for high achieving students. For instance we once had a trumpet student play taps for a veteran’s event and a WWII jet flew over just as his performance ended.

A: Yes, we offer band and group performance opportunities beyond private lessons.
Q: How do you build confidence to perform?
A: Through consistent preparation, small performance opportunities, and supportive teachers.

A: Yes, have curriculums for various age groups and skill levels for each instrument.

A: Absolutely—reading music is a core part of our program.

A: We mix structure with fun, using songs they love while building solid fundamentals.

A: Yes, we help students succeed in school programs, auditions, and competitions.

Q: Do we need an instrument at home?
A: Yes, it’s best to have one, and we’ll help guide you in finding the right fit.
Q: Do you help families choose instruments?
A: Definitely—we’ll recommend trusted options for your budget.
Q: How much practice is expected?
A: For beginners, 20 minute practice sessions a few days a week is enough to see progress.
Q: Can my child switch instruments?
A: Yes, you’re welcome to book some single lessons to try out different instruments, or switch month to month.

Q: Do parents sit in on lessons?
A: Younger students may benefit from it, but most do better with independence. Parents always get progress updates/homework each week.
Q: How can I support practice?
A: Encourage consistency and create a distraction-free space for practice.
Q: How will I know they’re improving?
A: You’ll hear it at home, and we’ll update you regularly. Completing homework each week and progressing through books is a great sign!
